Why redefine energy?
We connect infrastructure, consumption data, O&M and energy buying into one joined up strategy. The asset is not simply installed and forgotten. It is watched, maintained and improved.
What we do
Each solution stands on its own. Together, they create a managed commercial energy system.
Technically led commercial solar panel design and delivery, shaped around the way your site actually consumes power.
Capture surplus solar generation, reduce peak demand and create more value from every unit your business generates.
Align technology, import and export tariffs and renewal dates so your purchasing strategy works with your assets.
Turn half hourly energy data into clear actions, ongoing performance insight and your next opportunity.
Interactive energy estate
Change the operating scenario to follow solar, stored energy, grid support and P442 opportunity around an illustrative estate.
Our continuous approach
Your energy strategy does not end at installation. Each stage feeds the next, with management and O&M protecting the value created along the way.
05 returns to 01
Demand, tariffs, technology and asset condition keep changing. We use measured performance to identify the next action.
Swipe to explore each stage
We analyse half hourly consumption, load profiles, operating patterns and current energy costs to establish a reliable baseline.
We model solar PV and storage options against site constraints, demand and export potential to identify the strongest commercial solution.
Following installation, we monitor performance, detect faults and manage the planned O&M programme around the asset.
Using measured data, we optimise the system, size storage appropriately and procure the most suitable import and export tariffs.
We review asset performance, energy costs and changing demand each year, then identify the next opportunity for improvement.
Specialist strategies
Explore the commercial models that can unlock value beyond a standard single site installation.
Prioritise sites, create tenant value and manage each asset through one estate wide roadmap.
Matched energy supports the receiving site. Eligible unmatched export can continue to an SEG or commercial export tariff.
*SEG or another export tariff, where the generator, metering and supplier arrangement are eligible.
How we work
Credibility comes from how every project is analysed, delivered, managed and reported over the long term.
Technical and commercial assumptions are tested before a route is recommended.
Design, delivery, data, management and the next improvement stay connected.
Performance and actions are explained in commercial language, not hidden in dashboards.
The management fee keeps O&M, monitoring and annual certification around the asset.
Management & O&M
Every CSCONCEPT managed project can move into one annual management agreement, giving you confidence that the asset is being watched, maintained and reviewed rather than left until a bill reveals a problem.
Generation, storage, metering and system performance remain visible after handover.
Underperformance and alerts are identified early, investigated and progressed before value is quietly lost.
Routine operations and maintenance are included within the management fee at no additional charge.
Annual electrical inspection and certification are included as part of the managed service.
Clear reporting shows what the asset generated, how it performed and what action was taken.
Measured performance feeds the next decision on storage, tariffs, export and further optimisation.
The exact monitoring, response and maintenance scope is agreed for each asset. Replacement parts and major remedial works outside the managed scope are identified and agreed before proceeding.
Review an assetWhole energy optimisation
For a high consumption business, EII support can be worth thousands, or tens of thousands, of pounds each year. It should be understood before changes are made to the site's energy profile.
Review the business, site activity and available evidence against the current eligibility requirements.
Establish the support currently received, or potentially available, so it is visible in the business case.
Test how solar, battery storage, procurement and changing consumption could affect the total financial position.
Build the energy strategy around the strongest combined outcome, then keep it under review as the site changes.
We start by understanding the complete financial position, then recommend the combination that delivers the best overall result.
Start an EII reviewThe landlord opportunity
Where suitable, the landlord can fund and own the system while the occupier buys the on site renewable electricity through an agreed arrangement. The commercial structure must work for the building, landlord and tenant.
Compare consumption, roof potential, lease position and network capacity across every property.
Assess landlord funded, tenant funded and structured energy supply routes site by site.
Give occupiers a clearer route to lower carbon energy while improving the proposition of the building.
Monitor, maintain and review each installation through one portfolio wide management agreement.
Landlord funded energy model
The roof becomes a productive energy asset, renewable electricity is used on site and long term value is protected through ongoing management.
Funds and owns the energy system on the property.
Generates lower carbon electricity where it is needed.
Uses more on site energy and buys less from the grid.
The exact legal, metering and supply structure depends on the lease, site arrangement and regulatory position. We model the complete commercial case before contracts are agreed.
After handover
Monitoring, fault detection, performance reporting and the annual commercial review are managed across the estate.

Qualifying export is matched with participating demand. A licensed supplier provides top up power whenever generation does not cover that demand.
An Exempt Supply Notification Agent, or ESNA, validates the matched, top up and spill volumes. Eligible unmatched spill can then be paid under an SEG or other export tariff.
*Unmatched export can earn an SEG or other export tariff payment where the generator, metering and supplier arrangement are eligible. Matched units are not paid twice.
For businesses and portfolios
If one building exports qualifying renewable electricity, P442 may allow that volume to be matched with consumption at another participating building or occupier site. Any eligible unmatched spill can retain value through an SEG or commercial export tariff. CSCONCEPT analyses eligibility, half hourly matching, spill and the full cost before recommending a route.
A renewable site exports qualifying surplus electricity into the public grid.
The export is matched, half hour by half hour, with electricity used at another participating site.
A licensed supplier and ESNA record the matched renewable volume, any top up electricity and any unmatched spill. The sites are not directly wired together.
Eligible unmatched export may still earn an SEG or commercial export tariff payment. CSCONCEPT tests that value alongside every supplier, metering and service charge.
Where CSCONCEPT adds value
Eligibility, supplier participation, matched volumes, SEG/export spill value and all service charges determine whether there is a genuine saving.

No. Electricity still travels through the public grid. P442 is the matching and settlement arrangement used to identify qualifying renewable export against consumption at another participating site.
The licensed supplier provides top up electricity for the shortfall. The renewable and top up shares are recorded for each half hour period.
Potentially, yes. Electricity not matched to the receiving site can be sold under an eligible Smart Export Guarantee or commercial export tariff, provided the generator, export meter and supplier arrangement qualify. We model the likely match, spill and export value before recommending a route.
No. The matched volume and the unmatched spill are accounted for separately. SEG or export tariff payment applies only to eligible electricity that has not already been allocated to the receiving site.
No. Supplier, ESNA, metering, monitoring and applicable network charges still apply. The matched value must be greater than the complete cost.
Useful answers
No. The annual management service is available across every CSCONCEPT managed project, whether it is a single commercial system, an existing asset or a wider property portfolio.
The management fee includes ongoing performance monitoring, fault detection, reporting, routine O&M and annual electrical inspection and certification at no additional charge. The precise service level is agreed for the asset or portfolio.
We review the alert or underperformance, investigate the likely cause and coordinate the appropriate response. Replacement parts and major remedial works outside the agreed managed scope are identified clearly before work proceeds.
Yes. We can review the existing system, available monitoring and documentation, establish its current condition and propose the right management and O&M scope.
Yes. We compare performance and opportunity across sites, prioritise action and manage each asset through one portfolio wide energy roadmap.
